Background information of Allianz China Insurance Company Limited
I used to be working in Allianz Insurance China Company Limited. Allianz Insurance China Company Limited is a subsidiary of Allianz SE, one of the world's leading financial services providers headquartered in Munich, Germany. Allianz Insurance China operates as an insurance company in China, offering a wide range of insurance products and services to individuals, businesses, and corporate clients.
The broad mission of Allianz Insurance China is to be a leading provider of insurance solutions in the Chinese market.
Three froms of control systems
Output control
Same with many other companies, Allianz Insurance China establish a output control system by evaluating the achieved performance against the established targets. At the beginning of each year, employees are required to set their individual key performance outputs for each quarter link their job responsibilities combine with the team's and organization's development goals. This controlling method ensures employees' output align with company's objective as well as provides a measurable index for performance evaluation.
Behavioural control
Behavioral control refers to the management of employees' behavior to ensure alignment with the organization's values, norms, and goals. Allianz Insurance China strives to provide reliable, innovative, and customer-centric insurance solutions that meet the specific needs and requirements of the Chinese market.
In terms of behavioral control, the company is committed to regulating the internal and external behavior of its employees to ensure that they present a professional image in front of every customer. These behaviors include personal dress, oral and written expression, professional conduct and integrity. This enable the company to effectively establish its image as an industry benchmark in terms of customer service, providing the most basic guarantee for maintaining good customer satisfaction.
Clan control
Allianz China Insurance fosters a strong organizational culture built on shared values and beliefs. This includes promoting values such as integrity, customer focus, professionalism, and teamwork. The company would communicate these values through internal communications, training programs, and leadership behaviors.
Allianz China Insurance has not only set up a sales department in its organizational structure, but also established long-term cooperation partnerships with different brokers and agencies. Allianz China's sales staff regularly conducts training and meetings with brokers and agents, the content of which is centered on the company's values and beliefs. By implementing this control method, the purpose is to ensure that the information they output to their clients is consistent with the Allianz China's values and mission when they sell Allianz China's products.
My thoughts on each control system
The output control system conducting within Allianz China Insurance is a traditional control method. the company could track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly to assess how the company is progressing towards its targets. This approach is commonly adopted in many companies and can be considered an effective and successful practice.
For the behavioral control system, I think Allianz China Insurance is using an useful methods to regulate the behavior of its employees because it have robust compliance and ethics programs in place to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards. These programs provide guidance on ethical behavior, prevent misconduct, and encourage employees to act with integrity.
Lastly, I strongly agree that the company use clan control to its coperative partnets. This could ensure to deliver Allianz China Insuarnce's values of customer-centered and professionalism while the company's products are presented to customers through the third parties.
